My Photography...

Hello!

I have a lot of passions and hobbies, and one of those hobbies is Photography. The weird thing is I never considered it a hobby. When I look back now it makes sense that it has always been an interest of mine. In middle school my best friend Natasha and I would walk to Safeway and purchase inexpensive disposable cameras and take "artistic photos" and have them developed then came the age of Myspace and Facebook and I was now beginning high school.

For a gift I received a Nikon Digital Point and Shoot Camera. Through the years I went through many digital cameras (mainly for my talent of dropping them) but what was interesting was through those years. I had developed a reputation as being kind of like the class "papparazzi" I mean, people would laugh/complain "oh no KT is taking a pic of us" but the next day I would get messages asking when the photos were going to be posted and you would see the photo I took of them as their new profile picture.

Then about a year or so ago.. I realized I had outgrew my Nikon Point and Shoot (although I love it) it just wasn't taking the photos I was envisioning. Thus began the process of begging and asking for a DSLR camera. Still during all this time. I didn't consider photography a hobby or even passion of mine. It was something I just did.

Finally, last fall my Husbands birthday gift to me was a Nikon D3100 and since then I have taken a bunch of photos that I am really proud of. My Husband has also done a great job and supporting that and buying me new equipment as I grow. And it wasn't until I got this gift that I realized this was a passion of mine and had been all along. I still not a great photographer and I have a lot to learn. However, I am still very happy with the shots I have taken and where they are now.

So.. Now, To The Exciting News about it is that some of my photos are being SOLD for a few days on this site called 500px  and I would appreciate if you would take a look, vote of my pictures and so on and so forth.. maybe BUY a piece = ) hehe

Or... you can check out this site where my photos are ALSO being sold.. PhotoBox which is a European site..

Pretty Scoundrels (Heist Society #3)

Summary:
"Katarina Bishop and W.W. Hale the fifth were born to lead completely different lives: Kat comes from a long, proud line of loveable criminal masterminds, while Hale is the scion of one of the most seemingly perfect dynasties in the world. If their families have one thing in common, it's that they both know how to stay under the radar while getting-or stealing-whatever they want. No matter the risk, the Bishops can always be counted on, but in Hale's family, all bets are off when money is on the line. When Hale unexpectedly inherits his grandmother's billion dollar corporation, he quickly learns that there's no place for Kat and their old heists in his new role. But Kat won't let him go that easily, especially after she gets tipped off that his grandmother's will might have been altered in an elaborate con to steal the company's fortune. So instead of being the heir-this time, Hale might be the mark. Forced to keep a level head as she and her crew fight for one of their own, Kat comes up with an ambitious and far-reaching plan that only the Bishop family would dare attempt. To pull it off, Kat is prepared to do the impossible, but first, she has to decide if she's willing to save her boyfriend's company if it means losing the boy."
I loved Pretty Scoundrels so much more than Uncommon Criminals and I think a lot of it has to do with the emotional elements that are really in this book. Especially, with meeting Hale's family and seeing his progression as a character and the progression in his and Kat's relationship. It was nice to see some progression in Kat as well.

The other thing I liked was that I really didn't know where the con was going to go this time and I really felt like I was apart of the team this time. My heart sinking at failed attempts, my heart racing during the heist and my heart cheering at the successes.  Pretty Scoundrels was a great book in the series and I cannot wait to read more and continue the progression.

Top Ten Tuesday: Characters I Would Have A Crush On..

... If I was a fictional character, but really they are my book crushes.

Hosted By The Broke and The Bookish

1. Adam Wilde
I have been obsessed with him since If I Stay and it only got better with Where She Went.
He is my NUMBER  ONE. No other character has really stood up to him in my eyes.

2. Dimitri Belikov
That silent masculine Russian grew on me, and I really did love him. Yes, he did some things that turned me off.. and maybe another man came into the picture and woo'd me. But I will say Dimitri is still on the list.

3. Adrian Ivashkov
Cause, there is something about that sweet bad boy that I just can't help but love. I mean I think most of my list consists of that.

4. The Darkling
Now this is a REAL bad guy. And the series can still change my mind, but really he was my favorite part of that book and probably the only evil person I found sexy.

5. Griffin King
There is something about Griffin that makes me happy. Maybe, it is cause he is British..

6. Jack Dandy
Again. It is the bad boy who has a soft spot. Can't resist it.

7. Cricket Bell
He is the sweet dork, who is a little manly. There is something sexy about that really.

8. Edward Cullen
Yea.. he is on my list. I can't explain it. I just like him A LOT.

9. Peeta Mallark
I never thought I'd say this. But Peeta is husband material. Strong and caring.

10. Bram Griswold
Yea. I also like a zombie. BUT he is a nice zombie. Who somehow can have sex appeal. Really.
