Summary:

As I began reading City of Fallen Angels, I was pretty stoked. I was enjoying the writing, the characters developing.. Clary and Simon less annoying and Jace and Clary's love stronger. Unfortunately, the more I kept reading, the book kept losing its steam. A lot of great ideas and story lines, just not executed well enough. I felt like everything just happened too easily and was slapped together. Half of me is interested in where they are going now with the series, but half of me can see why people liked it as just a trilogy.
