Top Ten Tuesday : Books I'd Pick for a Book Club

Some of these books I haven't read yet, but from the buzz they get I would imagine would be good picks and some are maybe stereotypical picks = )

  1. I'm seeing The Book Thief and Water For Elephants on so many lists! I really need to read those asap. I have If I Stay on my list as well! Great picks.

    1. I haven't read The Book Thief yet, but since everyone says it will blow my mind I need to read it soon. And Yes, read Water for Elephants it is such a lovely story!!!

  2. I've only read The ALchemist from your list, and really liked it! There are quite a few others that I want to get to!

  4. I know Room has been on a lot of book club lists and I haven't read it yet but I agree that it would be a good pick! The Book Thief has been on so many lists as well and I haven't read it yet! I need to get on that ASAP! Here is my Top Ten

  5. I actually haven't read any of these though The Book Thief is assigned reading in my YA lit class this semester. Your list sounds amazing though!

  11. I wish there were more boys in book clubs and more boy book selections. I wonder why that is so difficult.

    That said, I'd love to have my book group read Room. Powerful.

  12. The Book Thief! YES! I mean, the narrator is death fro crying out loud! This is such a fantastic book to discuss. Let alone the time period.

    I love Eat, Pray, Love. How could you not?! It is such a good book. Each time I read it, it makes me want to take the bull by the balls and do something new with my life.

    1. What makes Eat Pray Love even better is it is based on the authors life!!!
