Top 10 Tuesday : Settings

Top 10 Tuesday is a Weekly Meme Hosted by The Broke and The Bookish

I am SO SO SO Excited this is my 1st time doing a Top 10 Tuesday, after many times saying I will do one and then not. So as you can see I FINALLY did it. I wish I put better thought into these.. but I love them anyways.

1. Hogwarts from The Harry Potter Series - I Feel this is a given and that every book fanatic will have this on the list... but let's be serious.. we all waited, wished and hoped we would get an acceptance letter to Hogwarts. I was instantly transported to Hogwarts the second I opened the book.

2. Italy, Indonesia and India in Eat,Pray, Love - I wanted to instantly jet set over to all three locations and I felt as if I was living in this easy going bohemian life style that Liz had created for herself. I want that SO SO bad.

3. Paris in Heist Society - It is very brief but when Carter describes Kat walking the streets of Paris in the early morning, I can picture it so precisely and imagine myself doing the same.

4. 1400's England in Mary Bloody,Mary - Just think about living in a castle back then! pretty awesome.

5. 19th Century England  from The Gemma Doyle Trilogy - I should also add the secret world they visit to this. Again I love the classic - ness and structure of society which I find so beautiful

6. 19th Century New York From The Luxe Series - Basically for the same reason above. I find it all so glamorous.. although I am sure it wasn't.

7. Here from There's No Place Like Here - An organized society where everything goes when it is lost of forgotten about. Heartbreaking yet fascinating.

8. Forks, WA from The Twilight Saga - There is something about dark, rainy and wooded areas that puts me in a certain mood that I can't quite explain.. its the similar mood i get when I watch the first 3 seasons of Grey's Anatomy

9. Gatsby's Home and Daisy's Home in The Great Gatsby - Gatsby for the party and mystical allure that anything can happen and Daisy's for having this nice summer 20's era draw to it.

10. The School Auditorium in Mick Harte Was Here - The most pivotal heart wrenching moment in the book, and  I will never forget about it.

  2. Great picks! And yay for us both being first timers.

I definitely chose Hogwarts and Italy, as well. Eat, Pray, Love was an excellent choice!

  3. living in an old castle would be way cool! My pick was the Dracula castle, but I could go back even farther than that. 1400s? I can just imagine . . .
